Sarah
Matchett took time out from her Beech Mountain Metric training this weekend to
race in the 34th Annual Rock Hill Road Race. The hilly, 64-mile race played to Sarah’s strengths of strong climbing
and endurance. Sarah raced a very smart
race, showing patience in the early miles and going hard when it counted. She made a well-timed attack on the last
hill, taking the break of 6 riders down to 4 and finishing 3rd for a spot on
the podium.
