Some of our athletes are after national, even world
titles while others’ goals are to get stronger on the bike and enjoy more
challenging cycling events. Robin Leavitt is one of those athletes.
Be assured however that she is an extremely dedicated athlete who takes her
training very seriously. Robin has a full schedule as a bank executive,
attends all home basketball games of her favorite Charlotte Bobcats (soon to be
Hornets) and still manages to find much success and fun on the bike.
Robin knocked out her highest yet 20-minute FTP test on Friday and the next
day, impressed her riding buddies, generating the following comments in their
weekly ride report. “One particularly impressive showing today was Robin Leavitt, whose
training efforts over the past year have yielded notable improvements in speed,
and an accompanying broad smile! You go girl!”
