Josue Vazquez of Puerto
Rico completed his first international road race as he completed the last stage
of the “Vuelta Ciclista Independencia Nacional” in Dominical Republic, February
20-27, 2014. The tour included 8 stages.
Josue is the current PR
Elite National Champion in mountain bike, and has represented the country in
international races as part of the national mountain bike team. He was invited
to be part of the road cycling national selection for this international tour
where there was participation of teams from Colombia, Venezuela, United States,
Kazakhstan, and others.
We are very excited
with his achievement and want to congratulate him for a job well done during
the tour, and wish him good luck in his upcoming mountain biking and road cycling
events!
