PCG athletes from India took on Nandi Hill and came out with AMAZING results. Great job and congratulations everyone!
Sachin
Kumar : The birthday boy
Won the race and generated a really good Power output, in the high 5s. His specific Peaks' training plan is showing its results slowly.
Jetharam Gat : Finished 5th in his category and overall
Jetharam says that he has been increasing from strength to strength after starting the Peaks' plan.

Viju
Varghese : Finished 13th in CAT2 and 37th overall
Held the direction of the race brilliantly for the first 60-70 km along with Adhithya Muthuswamy, another Peaks Athlete. He is the India Brand Manager of Trek Firefox. Viju has been a wonder story, for himself too. He has silently moved from being a recreational rider to a more serious amateur racer. He is himself astounded at the improvement that a very short span of the Peaks Training Plan has made in him.

Vinod Pillai : Finished 5th in CAT2 and
22nd overall
Another amazing climber, he has been off the saddle for a few weeks, recovering from illness. He had not even planned to go for the race when he was encouraged to go and have fun and just enjoy the experience. A strong performance from Vinod finishing in the top 15.

and 36th overall
One more Peaks Athlete. He finished lower down the order but has vowed to get more consistent in training.

Vishwanath Narayanasamy : Finished tied
in the 2nd spot with another rider in his category, a podium finish in Cat 2
and tied on 11th overall
Vishwanath has been steadily becoming a stronger rider with remarkable commitment. Well done Vishwa.
Adhithya Muthuswamy : Finished 11th in CAT2 and 35th overall
Held the direction of the race brilliantly for the first 60-70 km along with Viju Varghese, another Peaks Athlete. Unfortunately, Adhi was unlucky and had two flats. Obviously he got help from some other kind support team and managed to finish 22nd.
Siddharth Kansal : Finished 10th in CAT1 and 27th overall
Sid was in the Tempo team and has been working on improving his fitness and hopes to churn out 4.5:1 before the December boot camp.
Balaji Janardhan : Finished 20th in CAT2 and 49th overall
Again a Peaks athlete. Seems to have had one unlucky moment with some mechanical problem right at the start. We should see Balaji improve fairly soon.
Vicki Nicholson : Finished 1st among the women and 25th overall pitted with all the men
Vicki retained the 'Queen of the Mountain' title and climbed faster than the next competitor who is half her age. Kudos Vicki
Raman Garimela : Finished 8th in CAT 1 and 10th overall
Rode strongly and climbed well. He was the only member participating from his team and so Raman was on his own for the entire race and did not have the team help that many other riders had. He stuck to the Peloton and did well.
Sanjeev Mohan : Finished 16th in CAT 2 and 43rd overall
A new entrant into the Peaks' Team India.
Dr. Arvind Bhateja : Finished 2nd on the podium in the Masters category and 14th overall
Arvind has been riding tremendously churning out great power and has finished far ahead of many young riders in the CAT1 and CAT 2, half his age. You make all of us proud, Arvind, Kudos.
Shankar Jayaraman : Finished 4th in CAT2 and overall 20th
Shankar after a good start and completing the initial flat stretch well, had an unfortunate crash and yet managed to complete 4th in his category with a twisted handlebar. Impressive.
Chinmoy Rajurkar : Finished 4th in the Under-18 category and 48th overall
We were happy to see Chinmoy finish the race and his proud moment was that he finished it ahead of riders older than him. Well done, Chinmoy.
