is Gawie’s reaction and report from the race, “Got the W on the weekend! Nico
(Bell, PCG Athlete) and I went hard from the start and got away with another
guy 15km into the race. From there, Nico kept the pace going till about 30km in
when we rode away on a technical descend. Nico cut his wheel and I was left on
my own. I kept the pace going and maintained the gap. I slowed a bit the last
10km in the technical stuff to make sure I didn't brake anything or take
unnecessary risks and pulled of the win!”
