WA. This is a local stage race that many
considered that "A" race.
Saturday morning was the TT, he lost 20 - 30 seconds when a dog darted
out in front of him. Saturday afternoon,
the roads were wet and the rain was coming down, he comfortably took 4th in the
Criterium. Sunday morning the road were
dry, he had a plan to work with a couple of guys on other teams. The pack split up the second time up, a
brutal climb, called Mud Mountain it was down to 7 racers in the final 200K, he
lights it up and takes the win by 1/2 a bike length. After three months of
racing, has enough points to upgrade to a Category 3. Alan has had an awesome season placing in the
top 10 of every race he's entered.
