Tom Hackleman 1st place @ Banana Belt #3 Portland Oregon

Tom 1st place @ Banana Belt #3 Road Race, combined Masters 60, Hagg Lake, Oregon.  They combined the 50+ and 60+ fields and we only had about 15 or 20 guys. It was a hilly 11 mile circuit with a sharp, short uphill finish, which suits him just fine.  We did 44 miles. Zimbelman, multiple world and national champ, attacked and attacked and finally rode away after 1 1/2 laps. Nobody even bothered to chase. There were only about 10 of us left for the finale. I don't know any of those guys so wasn't sure who was 50 or 60. I just had to be sure and beat 'em all. One guy got by me at the finish line.
