After finding his race legs and losing
a few sprints, he's on the podium, 3rd place at Vance Creek RR, Mens Cat 5,
WA. The speed was high as the group
rolled through the flats and as they hit the first climb the peloton strung
out, six of them stayed together for the next lap and Alan has the group in a
pace line in a matter of minutes. One of
them attacked at the base of the climb and was gone. Alan tested the group with of couple surges
than with 1K to go, he attacked hard and took 3rd by 6 seconds. He will upgrade
to Cat 4 next week.
