Mark Hribar took 11th Tour of Berry
Roubaix. He beat his goal time of 1:59!! Mark's team finished 2nd.
"Mark and I started a very short
time ago…the end of February and we only had about 5 weeks to prepare. He has a great base so we worked on the hard
stuff…lots of Vo2. Mark was concerned
about tapering too much, feeling heavy on race day and not getting enough warm
up on race day. We work together to form
a strategy. The weather in Michigan this
winter has not been very conducive for outdoor riding but Mark in hard as nails
and get out unless the snow is blowing sideways. The course on race day was a combination of
snow and ice, dirt sections, dry pavement but it was sunny and a balmy 35 deg.
