Great job Annie with the new PR!!! Check out what Coach Bill Gros had to say about Annie's performance in the Marfa Texas 100K.

"One of my newest athletes has done Marfa twice before, so we had the advantage of some experience going into the event. Annie is a very competitive "go-getter" athlete and the challenge as a coach with her is to make sure she gets enough rest. We managed to get her into the event morning at -4TSB with a 78CTL, this after being at -42TSB and 70CTL four weeks earlier. We managed to taper, get in one more long aerobic ride, and test to solidify the understanding of her current FTP before race day.

She was the second woman to finish overall, first in her age group, and threw down some fantastic times. She took 17minutes off her long climb time (1:02:16), 2minutes off the short climb time (0:16:20), and 7minutes off of her overall best time from 2018 with a 3:13:54. She seemed totally unaffected by the difference in altitude relative to San Antonio (650' to just over 4500') and exhibited her natural inherent strength which is her high resistance to fatigue. She seems to be able to ride tempo or even sweet spot for days!

Congratulations Annie Elmendorf!"

Annie is coached by Peaks Coaching Group Elite/Master level coach Bill Gros.
