The event was “Fearless Women’s Weekend Race”, where 3 laps were completed on a mostly flat and intense route from start to finish, for a total of 31 kilometers.
Coached by Axel Santiago, Yunaika Leyva, Marisol Tellado and Deborah Vega managed to maintain the intensity from start to finish, finishing with an average of 3.5 wkg. In category B they achieved, respectively, positions # 4, # 5, and # 10, with Marisol being the winner of the final sprint of the group, followed by Yunaika. All three did a good team job, remotely led by their coach Axel Santiago, through the Discord app ans visually through Zwift.
On the other hand, Axel, his coach, participated in the 3R Innsbruckring Flat Race, completing 5 laps on a circuit in Innsbruck, representative of the city in Austria that hosted the 2018 Road Cycling World Championships.
Congratulations to the girls for their achievements. They are very happy that have finally begin the competitive period of the 2020 season and are burning adrenaline.
