In 2016 Walter Mattos in his mid 50’s was already a competitive cyclist but decided to join the PCG Team under the watchful eye of Elite Master Coach Aaron Long.
Impressively, for the past 2 seasons Walter has continually improved! For 2018 they set both internal and external goals of a PR up the local Mesa climb in Rio AND podium at the annual Rio State Championships.
Weeks ago Walter did arrive on Peak as scheduled and managed to bag an impressive sub-20 minute effort in just 19:44 AND grab a Silver Medal at the Rio State Championships this past weekend! Bravo Walter!
