Congratulations to PCG Athlete Vince Anderson on his
second place finish in the Solo Single-Speed division at the 6-day Breck Epic
Stage Race! Vince may not be too happy with that finish though as he was the
overall race leader when he crashed on Stage 5, suffered significant bike
damage rendering his bike basically unrideable and causing him to lose a lot of
time, slipping to second place. He managed to finish Stage 5 and used a
borrowed bike to do Stage 6 but the time gap was just too big for any human to
make up. Still, this was an improvement over his 3rd place overall finish last
year. He was riding so much stronger until disaster struck so he still deserves
a lot of credit for a job well done!
