» Greg Judin takes 4th at XTERRA Duathlon at the Knysna Oyster Festival Races
Jul 16, 2015
Coached by Karen Mackin.
Each year Greg Judin packs up his family and combines an epic week of
racing with a wonderful family vacation in Knysna, South Africa at the Knysna
Oyster Festival. With over 100 events to choose from, Greg chose to participate
in 5 of the most hotly contested events over the course of the week.
He started Saturday (7/4) and raced the 80km mountain bike race and the
next day he did the 110km road cycling race.
On Tuesday (7/6) he did the 15km trail running race.
Thursday was the XTERRA off-road duathlon (3k trail run, 23k MTB, 7k
trail run).
He finished off the week doing a half marathon running road race on
Saturday (7/11).
Greg had some great results and with comparing this years to last year’s
events, he noticed an improvement in all of the events. His most notable result
for the week was his 4th place placing in his category for the Duathlon.
Overall he (and his coach) were very pleased with the results for the entire
week! Congratulations Greg!
