Omir Torres won the Lodi Cycle Fest, MM 35+ Cat
4, 8 Corner Criterium in California. This year’s training hasn't been ideal and
he has been busy guiding teammates to several podiums, but this race was the time
to switch gears and prove he still had his sprinting legs. Jeff Dale (2nd) did
a perfect lead out on the final turn and Omir launched off his wheel, gapping
everyone, and reaching 32mph by 50m or more, which basically allowed him to
coast across the finish line.
