Dave Adornato scores a 10th place in his season opener

Dave Adornato, Team Montclair Bikery 45+ rider, scored a 10^th place in his season opener in the Cat 3 race at the Philly Phyler Criterium. Dave has been crushing his intervals all winter and the results are following. The Philly Phyler is the second stop on the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference schedule this year so the Category 3 race was filled with collegiate riders. A group of six went up the road early fighting the wind and challenging course. The wind left the chasing group of eight including Dave and Montclair Bikery teammate and Peaks Coach Bill, the only riders over 30, fighting to regain time but to no avail. One dropped off the break setting up the sprint for 6^th spot. Dave setup the lead-out and plowed through the last corner with Coach Bill close behind securing 9^th for Bill and 10^th for Dave. Great team work Dave.
