Peter Ritchie took 2nd
place in his age group at the Amy Gillett Gran Fondo (UCI Masters) in
Melbourne, Australia to qualify for Masters Worlds in 2015! Ritchie spoke to his coach after, "It all came
down to the final climb. It was hard to be aware of all of my competition
leading up to the climb, due to the different categories beginning to bunch
together. The eventual winner snuck by me as we approached the climb. Everyone attacked and I continued to pass many rides, dragging the third
place rider all the way to the final climb, about 60km. Managed to get rid
of him on the final pitch with 1k to go."
