This past weekend, John Hart took first overall in
the Roane County Time Trial and in doing so set a personal best power record
for the duration. Setting a PR like that is impressive as John has been a cat 1
racer for years. Additionally, as with
most of North America, it's been a brutal winter in TN and John has spent the
most time on a trainer ever for him. So,
this early season result shows what can be done in the face of a brutal winter
with perseverance and a lot of indoor training.
John beat some strong competition and did an
excellent job of pacing to pull this win off.
In addition to the TT win, John also ended up third overall in the
omnium and now stands first overall in the TBRA standings.
