Simon
McAleenan completed a great ride which was part of his major goal of the season:
Etape du Tour, on July 7th in France.
Simon did
an awesome job; it was a 130K ride through the mountains with 2 major climbs.
Simon who by his own statement when we started said that he wasn’t “a cyclist”
but after his event I say he is. The event started with 14,000+ people and
since he never did this before and had not results he was staged in about
11,000 PLACE AND BY THE EVENTS END WAS NEAR 3,500 and finished in 6 ½ Hours.
This was some major climbing and he really did do an awesome job.
He is
taking a reduction now for a few weeks with cycling training he is still riding
just transition do to the fact he is doing a 14K swim in the river Thames
August 11th. He will do great there too. Once that is completed we are setting
new goals for on the bike.
Awesome
work, Simon!!!!
