Eric
competed in the Springfield, MO criterium this past Saturday. The criterium was
a very hard training day and Eric was using this race to help teammates out. He
raced the master’s and the Pro 1/2 race.
This is what Eric wrote to his coach following
the race, “The master race was not the smartest race I have raced. Covered too
much dead end stuff and missed the wheel to the break. So I chased the 8-10 man
break solo to the finish. Second race was able to do a lead out to sling shot a
teammate ahead of the lead out train of another team for the win of the group
and I sprinted for 7th.”
It
was an awesome job considering his legs were not as fresh from a very hard work
out the day before. His road to recovery from his crash (broken shoulder) is
nothing short of amazing!!!
