Sherrie and Marc have been a part of the PCG family for quite a while, from coaching to camps they trust PCG with their training. This past weekend they both put out quite the performances at the Empire State Senior Games.  Below is coach Rickey Wray Wilson's recap of the weekend.

"A big shout out to Peaks Coaching Group DFW adopted Texan from New York, Marc Kingsley and his wife, Sherrie! Be sure to read Marc's report below! Fantastic results for both in the Empire State Senior Games. This race was a qualifier for the 2023 National Senior Games in Pittsburgh, PA.

A quick summary of Marc's results. Marc's first event was the 5K Time Trial (TT), and he took first place in the 60-64 age group and tied for 3rd fastest overall. This was followed by the 10K TT. Marc has worked hard on following Hunter's second most important rule of time trials after number one of "get to the start line on time," and that rule is "don't go out too hard!" Marc started a little easy to let his breathing and HR stabilize, and then it was game on! Another 1st and 2nd fastest overall for Marc.

The finale was a 20K Road Race. A teammate launched an attack early on, and a small group broke free and started hammering. It was a hectic race, yet, Marc was able to finish 4th overall and again 1st in his age group.

Sherrie Silver Kingsley took gold in all 3 of her races as well" - Coach Rickey Wray Wilson
