Huge congratulations to Egor Pravilov on completing his first Ironman. Coach Paul Ozier has worked with Egor for several years now, and has made some amazing progress. Coach Paul said "Egor is a great athlete to work with. Communication between coach and athlete is the most vital thing in the equation. Although it also helps when I am coaching a super human." From what Egor had to say after his race I would say a lot of his success comes from his "anything is possible" attitude. Check out what Egor had to say after the race below! Great Job Egor!!
"This Saturday one dream came true. I have completed the full
Ironman distance. And in this post I'd like to thank those, who were part of
this milestone.
It was Janis Musins, who created this from a twice-a-week rider with a solid aerobic base. Daaniel Teet
taught me from scratch how to swim, and without him this would not be
possible at all. Aleksei Voronkov who keeps getting my body ready for each and
every week full of training. Andrei TÅ¡erednik (10 times Ironman), whose
real experience and advice were
priceless. My neighbors and friends Hans Moks, Andrei Vershinin, Manuel Schippers
for warm words and support.
And the one who is responsible for the most of this success
- Paul Ozier, outstanding cycling and running coach, with whom we've been
working shoulder to shoulder all recent years.
All the locals of Tallinn who came to support us almost crawling the last miles on streets of our lovely city. You were absolutely incredible!
IRONMAN Estonia for one of the best events I have taken
part in.
Finally, my family, who suffered most of all, who missed me
for so many long hours.
Anything is possible. Just give it a try!"
