Mark Johnson, coached by Peaks Coaching Group Master/Elite coach Bill Gros, completes a three-day tour of the Bear Tooth Mountains!
The Bear Tooth Mountains are located in South Central Montana and Northwest Wyoming around route 212.
Mark's journey included 165miles with almost 28,000 feet of climbing. His total Training Stress Score was 773 over 12 hours and 45 minutes.
This is a lot of work for most any cyclist to go along with the perils of altitude (10,791 feet maximum!), but plenty of picture and calorie input breaks meant a successful trip. Mark has since come back, recovered and is nailing his training rides!
Congratulations Mark!
