With only a week of training in his legs, after vacationing in Mexico for two weeks. Tom uses his amazing tactical skills to take 3rd place in the Olympic View Master Men's 50+ RR.  The first day back in town, it's sunny in WA and he does an epic long ride. After 18 years of racing in the local area, he knows who the dangerous guys are. They all tried to get away from the pack. Usually Torque chased 'em down and spoiled their fun. He also attacked on his own a few times and made the others contenders chase while I just watched. Sweet! You had to be near the front for the last descent otherwise you'd be chasing the sprint group and using valuable energy. At 500k to go it was down to 7 riders, one did a huge lead out and at the very last second Tom was able to sprint for 3rd.
