This Season Tim McGlinn decided it was time to get serious and shave some time off his triathlons. He bought a new bike, Xterra Wetsuit, a power meter and hired Peaks Coach Karen Mackin and began training hard. He worked around his crazy work and family schedule throwing down some excellent training and went to his first race of the season, The Red Bank Olympic Distance Triathlon on May 20th, 2012 in New Jersey. He was feeling really good and he thought he had a good race, but since he had forgotten to start his watch, he unfortunately didn't know his overall time. In fact, he really didn't know how well he did UNTIL... the final results came out and he found out his time was over 20min faster than he had done the same race last year. He was ecstatic! Excellent work Tim!
