She dominated the field from start to finish!
In a race season filled with many cancellations, Peaks Athlete Kristin Maguire managed to find one that actually took place this past weekend (Dino/MOTUS Off-Road Triathlon in Versailles State Park, IN).
She is still relatively new to the trails, but thanks to relentless determination and persistent training, she has learned to master the single-track scene.
Coming out of the water as second female, she quickly passed her competition, and put so much space between her and the rest of the field that she sailed in to a strong First Overall Female finish, along with beating the vast majority of the boys in the field (which is Kristin's personal favorite take-away from the race.)
Her coach, Sarah Wangerin, has enjoyed seeing just how hard she can push Kristin, and knows she's still not tapped this girl out yet. Look forward to seeing more strong race stories from this Peaks athlete in the future!
