PCG cyclists Marisol Tellado (team leader and returning from a one year retirement), Deborah Vega(novice) and Cassandra Surrillo set a goal that for many would be impossible because of the terrain altitude, stages altimetry and rhythm of competition. But training with power meters and under the direction of their Elite Peaks Coaching Group Coach Axel B Santiago they passed the expectations and culminate the women tour category UCI 2.2

By 2017 they only were racing at local and national level, but these three driven ladies made the decision to accept a high level training, that in a short time led them to achieve an optimum form to race at an international level. They all work 9 to 5, still do not have sponsorship, did not have any type of international racing experience and many of the stages were at 2500 meters above sea level. They live at sea level but only with their eyes closed followed the instructions of the former pro cyclist Axel B Santiago.

Once this goal is finished they do not want to go back and wish to continue competing at this level and enjoying cycling, so for the future they will be looking other events and their goal could be to compete in the Giro Rosa, the biggest female event in stages worldwide. You can follow and sponsor these three PCG cyclists through the Facebook fan page Impetu Ciclismo Femenino.
