Walter Mattos - Winning In Brazil

Walter Mattos - Long time PCG athlete coached by Elite Master Coach Aaron Long had a fantastic couple of weeks recently!!

First he managed a personal goal of going Sub 20’mins up the famed Mesa de Imperador climb at close to 320W! https://www.strava.com/segments/635911?filter=overall

Secondly he WON the Giro 100K road race here in Rio de Janeiro!

"The break away group was formed by 4 guys C1 (50-54), myself C2 (55-59) and another C2 guy . My rival was never into the wind . A managed it through to the last 1 km , then tested this C2 guy with a strong move , but he stayed in my wheel .  Then , in the last 300 meters I have it all, full gas , and got it !!”
