Peaks rider finishes high in Tour of Watopia Results
Sarah Barber (age 58), a Peaks athlete from Cedar Rapids, IA
has finished 11th out of 600 women worldwide who completed all seven
stages of the recent Zwift Tour of Watopia. Barber was the 4th
placed American woman rider.
In recent years Sarah has competed at road nationals, CX
nationals, and also races MTB. She is an extremely disciplined athlete who pays
close attention to her lifestyle to maximize her performance, including eating
very healthy, strength training once or twice per week, mental training, and
daily monitoring of her physiological metrics (primarily pulse and heart rate
variability-HRV).
