This past Sunday, August 13, in a very hot climate that reached 90 degrees
farenheit and over a completely dry terrain, Sanders won his age group 17-19
category and finished fourth overall over two thousand mountainbikers who
started at the event trying to finish the 88 kilometers strenuous course. At
his young age he has achieved several victories on both road bike and MTB.
Sanders continues his long-term preparation with the purpose of representing
his country in international events. Sanders trains with a power meter.
