This weekend, PCG Athlete Eddie Stern competed at the
Syracuse Race Omnium Weekend.
On Saturday, Eddie uncorked a big effort to
win the Cat 5 Individual TT and place 9th in the overall field,
including the Pro1/2 racers. Coming off that masterful performance,
Eddie was unfortunately involved in a crash during Sunday’s Road Race and
suffered a separated shoulder. Being the warrior that he is, Eddie drove
6 hours to get home and to a hospital. Fortunately, he has no broken or
fractured bones and is determined not to let his injury disrupt his
training.
Racing will have to take a brief backseat, but Eddie is eager
to get back in the game, as soon as possible.
