PCG Elite Coach Brian Murphy Sends:

Eddie Stern has done it again!

For the second time this season, he took the top step of the podium.  So far, he’s raced three times and has been on the podium each race.

This past weekend, Eddie gapped the field by over a minute in the Quabbin Road Race (Cat 5 40+).

The Quabbin race is a 100km race around the Quabbin Reservoir in central Mass.  The race course is a challenging one with approximately, 4.5k of total elevation gain.  It is punctuated with a very challenging 2.5 mile finishing climb.  Eddie made his move and broke away from the peloton at the beginning of the finishing climb.  The peloton could not respond and Eddie soloed away.

One of my other athletes, Jonathan Baker raced with Eddie and finished 5th in a field of 50 racers.

Needless to say, I am quite proud of both their performances!

Eddie and Jonathan are coached by PCG Elite Coach Brian Murphy
