Bruno Joaquim raced last weekend to win his first 70.3 race.

With a strong swim/bike combination, Bruno, who's been racing triathlon for only 3 years, left T2 with a comfortable lead. Dealing with the heat of nearly 100 degrees F. was the hardest part: “As the race started at 9:30am, the run was under a really hot and humid condition. Managing the heat and the hills during the run was my main concern” said Bruno.

Happy to be back on track after months dealing with ITB problems, Bruno delivered a solid run and finished with a lead of almost 5min.

Bruno has his eyes on jumping on to the ironman distance and hopefully Kona.

Bruno is coached by PCG Coach Cristiano Solak
