Jen Schoenberg had a great
race at the 2014 Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Having
carefully crafted a "finish strong" race strategy with the help of
Peaks Coach Karen Mackin, she exclaimed, "The best part of "running
smart" is kicking butt on the last 10k and passing too many people to
count and hearing them all cheer you on!" She finished in 11:09,
23rd in her AG (9th for athletes from the States!). This result bumped
her into the Gold (top 1%) Ironman-Only Rankings with a rank of 16th (5th for
USA Athletes). Congratulations Jen!
