Michael capped off a
fantastic season with the Portland marathon, finishing in 3:32.54, and qualifying
for the 2016 Boston Marathon, which was the ultimate goal. Michael spoke to his coach following the event and said, "It went great -
no tendonitis - no hip pains - no asymmetric aches afterwards. It was my
first regular marathon and I made the normal mistakes; target a bit too
aggressive, went too fast for the first half! (Did not listen to Earl, just the
bad voice in my head!), so really had to struggle from mile 21 onwards to keep
it together. So thanks - this year with Hawaii,
whistler and then this - my gait is in good shape - the analysis+ exercises and
stretching really did make a huge difference!"
Congratulations!!
Congratulations!!
