Kristi
finished on the podium throughout the 10 race summer series, and accumulated
omnium points to finish 2nd overall in the Women Cat 4. Kristi had two victories, one second place,
and four third places to earn her spot on the podium. Racers earn points each race that accumulate
throughout the summer. Kristi proved she
is consistently one of the top women performers at the popular crit series in
downtown Nashville. As a masters racer
competing against women 10 to 20 years younger she has performed like a champ,
and she still has a lot of room to grow!
Throughout the series we focused not only on her physical strength, but
even more time on the mental and tactical side to racing. Kristi’s development physically and mentally
has been a steady progression upwards; leaving her with a lot to look forward
to as she gains more experience.
