on a two person mixed team (with Joel Southern), and not only did they win
their category (50+), but obliterated the previous record in the entire “mixed”
category and finished 2nd overall of the 2 person teams.
6 days, 21 hours,
28 minutes was their time and an average of 17.89 mph.
Janice rode one hour on
and one hour off with her teammate Joel Southern and notches another win in her
Ultra-endurance resume. A winner of the
Race across Oregon, and the Furnace Creek 508, she’s quickly becoming one well
known as one of the best ultra-endurance racers in the world! Congrats!
