Hats off to PCG athlete, Jeff Lester. Jeff and I have been working on his training for endurance events over the last couple of years. On July 28th, he successfully finished RAMROD! "Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day" is an ultra-marathon cycling event including riding through Mount Rainier National Park, and featuring 10,000 feet of climbing over 150 miles! Here is what Jeff had to say, "Many recorded 101 near the top of Cayuse Pass yesterday, which would make this the hottest RAMROD on record. Managed to finish in 9 hours, 30 minutes, starting at 5:00 AM. to beat some of the heat. Tried to peak as best I could using what you taught me. Just before the event 75 CTL, 68 ATL, Form 25, with a 707 TSS for the day!"
