Wow, Congratulations Marc! Where
do we even begin?!?! Marc has been a long time PCG athlete coached by
Elite/Master Coach Rickey Wray Wilson. He has also been a regular at our Spring
Road Camp here in Bedford, Virginia, along with his wife Sherrie they have attended
9 camps now, including this past year.
He has been working hard this
spring and it has been showing. He nabbed his first gravel and MTB race wins,
and then got another MTB race win this past weekend. Check out the race recaps

Last weekend 6/12-6/13 for Marc. On Saturday at the 25th Anniversary Black Fly Challenge, which was a 38-mile course with 2, 400' of climbing. He finished 1/18 in the 60+ field and 46th overall, with a time of 2:06:20 in the CX1 race. It was a great race and effort by all, Marc landed his first gravel race win. Then on Sunday Marc raced in the Ausable Chasm MTB race, where he would take his first MTB race win! He place 1st in his AG, and 10th overall in the 2-lap Cat 2 sport field.
And now this past weekend on Sunday (6/19) March was back out racing again. This time at the Heldererg Cliff Hanger MTB race out at the beautiful Thacher State Park. He raced again in the 60+ Cat 2 sport race, placing 1/4 in the 60+ field coming in at 1:23:30, he was 5/23 in the combined 50-60+ start group, and 13/51 overall. Great job Marc!
