Dago Joya, coached by PCG’s Jaime Tolentino, achieved two podiums in the recently completed Elite Track National Championships in El Salvador. Dago and his road team participated in the track and went mano-a-mano with the track specialists. Coach Jaime tells us that the long aerobic training of the season so far was not ideal for the shorter intensive events of the track, but nevertheless Dago achieved a 1st place in the Scratch race and a 3rd place in the 4000m pursuit which the “road” riders dominated. Congratulations to Dago for the great results and good luck on the upcoming road season!
