Cheers to our PCG athlete Annie Elmendorf of San Antonio, Texas!

Annie attended the most recent Peaks Coaching Group Training Camp in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, riding for 7 days through beautiful island countryside gravel roads and climbs. Annie accumulated 309 miles, but the real story was the 30,534' of climbing in those 309 miles and collective training stress score of 1647Tss. That's an average of 235Tss per day! She is a true aerobic athlete phenom!

After some much-needed rest and initial gentle return to the saddle, she prepped for the first race event in Texas, the Holland Grand Prix. A 36-mile road race for the women ensued just this past Sunday the 20th. The small women's field was whittled down to 3 riders vying for the win with Annie's Team Battalion teammate, Brandee Brunot, breaking away late in the race to take a solo victory. Annie contested a two-up sprint for the final two podium spots to garner a third-place finish to open the 2022 campaign.

Annie is coached by PCG Elite/Master Coach Bill Gros
