The training is going well this year for Victor Ortega as he finished 2nd in the 40-49 Category of the 140km Gran Fondo Madero held in Parras de la Fuente, a historical town in the state of Coahuila in Mexico. Parras hosts the oldest winery in the Americas dating back to 1597! Victor’s coach, Jaime Tolentino, tells us that the taper for this event worked perfectly and Victor was able to achieve 90-day peak power starting at 27min all the way through 3:30hrs which is exactly what we have been aiming for!
