Despite a pandemic and at times finding it hard to stay motivated Lizzy Gunsalus keeps looking forward. With no CX racing here in the US this fall, Lizzy has shifted her focus a bit cross country running in high school. While still training on the bike in the hopes to make it to Europe over the winter for the Cyclocross Worlds, comes some great news! Marian University's first signing for this fall's 2021 cycling team!
Lizzy is coached by PCG Elite/Master Bart Lipinski. Last year Lizzy finished 2nd at the Pan-American Championships, 1st at the Helen 100 DVV in Loenhout Belgium and finished 8th in the first ever elite junior women's race at the CX Worlds in Switzerland.
