3rd place at Virginia Road Race State Championships

Congratulations to Brad Harger on his 3rd place podium finish at the Franklin Inferno Road Race on Sunday, July 7th! This race was also the Virginia Road Race State Championships. 

Coached by PCG Coach Nathan Ayers, Brad just completed a two week taper for this A priority event on his race calendar, and despite the heat, he was feeling really good on race day. Brad was able to bridge to a 3 man breakaway with another rider around 20 miles into the race. The break was able to stay away until the finish, and Brad sprinted for 3rd place!  

Brad is currently Coach Nate's longest continuous client. They've worked together since Coach Nate began his endeavor into coaching almost 5 years ago. Through lots of hard work, Brad has improved his race performances every single year. Life gets in the way many times, and Nate and Brad work around the little hiccups that come up. 

Things such as injuries, illnesses, health problems, family obligations, work, lack of sleep, newborn babies, etc.

We're very proud of what Brad has accomplished and we cannot wait to see what else he can accomplish with his strong work ethic and passion for cycling.
