On May 6th 2018, Dan Burns got a well deserved win in
the Masters 35+ 3/4 at the Ride Sally Ride Criterium in Sterling Virginia.
Dan joined an early attack to form a 5 man break before the
half way mark of the 40 minute race.
With only a handful of laps remaining, Dan and two other
riders lapped the field making the finish a bit more complicated.
With some smart riding, Dan worked his way up through the
field, even avoiding a crash in the closing laps, to finish near the front of
the field sprint and most importantly, ahead of his break away companions to
take a great win that will hopefully lead to more results.
Hard work pays off.
Dan is coached by PCG Master Coach BJ Basham
