Deborah
Vega (Puerto Rico) won the first place in the Female Master category in the
Road Cycling Mountain National Championship held in Aibonito, PR. Deborah
is a mountain biker and participates in road cycling races as the MTB racing
calendar allows. Last year she took the second place in the race, and this year
she was able to win the first place and get the championship. She has been
using a power meter, which helps monitor and control the efforts during the
race, resulting in a more efficient use of resources, especially in sustained
efforts like those on the Road Cycling Mountain Championship.
Deborah also won 2nd place in the MTB National Championship in the Female Master (30-39)
category last month in Corozal, PR.
Congratulations
to Deborah for those amazing results during the 2014 season!
