This year Nathan LaFrance
entered into the very competitive ranks of the Junior Elite in the world of
Triathlon. This involves racing ITU (International Triathlon Union)
draft legal style Triathlon races. Setting his sights on competing
at the highest level, he chose the Junior Elite National Championship (Aug 2nd)
and the USAT Amateur Sprint (non-draft legal) National Championships (Aug 10th)
as his top season goals. Being the youngest in the 16-19 age
category, he was extraordinarily pleased with his place of 29th at the Elite
Championship. Then the following weekend he kicked it up a notch
and qualified for the World Championship in the Sprint National
Championship. Way to go Nathan!
