Event: Natchez to Nashville for Team Red, White and Blue
This 2nd annual event was founded by
Coach Tim Hall to raise money for Team Red, White and Blue, a veterans
organization, whose mission is to enrich the lives of vets in their local
communities through physical and social activities. The ride covers the entire 444 miles of the
Natchez Trace Parkway from Natchez, MS to Nashville, TN. This year the ride had 20 total riders, which
included PCG athlete Rick Harris, as well as Ben Day and Jeff Louder of the UHC
Pro Cycling Team. Each rider was responsible for raising a minimum of
$2,000. The event was sponsored by Aegis
Sciences Corp. and the Aegis Foundation. Each day the ride was over 100 miles
with Stage 3 being the Queen Stage at 128 miles. Coach Hall and Rick both rode
solidly after having done a huge block of volume and lots of sub-LT work. To learn more about the ride please visit
