Marge Rajczewski raced at the 10th
Annual Mohawk Towpath Byway Duathlon on Oct 14th, 2012. The race consisted of a 2.2 mile run followed
by a 16 mile bike and finishing up with a 2.2 mile run in pouring RAIN and cold
temperatures! (no wonder she had a down
parka on in the photo). She came in
First in the 70-99 Age group. The
course was brutally hard. She explained
that right smack in the middle of the run there was a hill that was so steep
most people walked up it. Having the
course close to her home gave her an advantage because she was able to practice
on it regularly prior to the race.
And it certainly paid off.
