On Friday, Jack Kelso pushed the
reigning 65-69 national pursuit champion to his limits when he posted a 2:34.2
for the silver in the 2k and lost out on the gold by a mere 0.4 sec. Jack
shaved 7 seconds off of his time from 2011, where he lost to the same rider by
a full 3 sec. This time, the winner was so spent from the effort that he needed
to be carried of his bike.
After being so close to the gold in
the individual pursuit, two days later, Jack was determined and anchored a team
pursuit that rode to the gold.
